Opera Software has released a new version of the mobile web Browser – Opera Mini 8 – for the Apple iOS platform based devices. New Opera Mini 8 mobile web browser brings more native-like looks and a fresh new data compression mode to ensure data usage savings. The new Opera Mini 8 is already available for download at the Apple App Store.
Opera Mini 8 brings a more cosmetic facelift and flatter user interface change to match up with the native iOS 7 look. The Mini 8 mobile web browser also bundles along various data savings modes for users to enjoy mobile web browsing while saving some bucks. The new Opera Mini mode is the special data compression mode that promises up to 90 percent web data compression when activated. This mode uses the Opera Software’s own Proprietary data compression technology.
Along with that, the usual Opera Turbo mode continues to exist. However, there is a marginal difference between Opera Mini and Opera Turbo mode. The user can enjoy better web page compatibility and fluidity of the web pages. Meanwhile, the Opera Mini mode will be a totally stripped down version.
The new data savings mode will always keep a check on your data usage and users can always check the usage statistics in the web browser itself.
New Opera Mini 8 is focussed for the folks who are mostly traveling, ones with pre-paid data packs activated and those with a data usage limits.
