The latest earphones from OnePlus comes with a metal design, which was similarly found in Bullets V2. The company has added aramid fibre to the wire, which adds some durability and it is resistant to stretching as well. The headset now comes with improved sound quality as compared to its predecessor.

OnePlus has added professional DAC in partnership with Ciruss Logic, that the company claims will deliver higher dynamic range, higher signal-to-noise ratio and low noise floor, compared to the previous generation model. The brand claims that Type C headphones ensure minimal loss of quality for a superior audio outcome in comparison with traditional 3.5mm audio jack.

As per a survey conducted by OnePlus in early 2017, 80 per cent of users used in-jack headphones regularly, while, in a poll in 2018, that number dropped drastically with 59% of users switching to wireless headsets. “OnePlus is again demonstrating its flexibility, offering options for different users by developing Type C Bullets to complement the already revered Bullets Wireless,” the company said in a statement. The latest earphones are compatible with any Type C USB port and one can adjust sound enhancement on their smartphones for a more customised sound experience.

This also hints that OnePlus is finally planning to drop the 3.5mm jack from its upcoming smartphone, the OnePlus 6T. The company has already confirmed that thenew device will come loaded with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The brand revealed that the addition of in-display fingerprint sensor will make the OnePlus 6T half a millimetre thicker as compared to OnePlus 6.
