OnePlus ties up with french brand Colette, new lifestyle product range expected

The company will drop the curtains tomorrow i.e. 15th March, revealed the tweet with some rumours claiming that this might be a new blue colour variant of the OnePlus 3T, however, that probably sits at the bottom of the list.

OnePlus is all set to bring the famous fashion brand ‘Colette’ on board. Earlier today, the Chinese handset manufacturer tweeted hinting a possible collaboration with the French-based fashion brand for new series of accessories. The company will drop the curtains tomorrow i.e. 15th March, revealed the tweet with some rumours claiming that this might be a new blue colour variant of the OnePlus 3T, however, that probably sits at the bottom of the list.

On the other hand, some previous rumours have suggested that OnePlus might be trying its luck in lifestyle product range as well. However, presuming what could actually be the outcome of this partnership might be a little waste as Collete itself has a bunch of other product categories apart from bags, clothes, and accessories. The fashion brand also has its own lineup of accessories with jewellery, smartphone accessories such as tangle-free earphones combined with other designer accessories.

OnePlus recently announced its partnership with veteran Bollywood actor, Amitabh Bachchan as its only brand ambassador in India. Not only this, soon after the announcement, the company also launched its ‘Best Smartphone Contest’ with Amitabh Bachchan being the host this time. To know more about this, click here.

Meanwhile, we also recently saw a new black themed wallpaper leaked online which hinted that the Chinese multinational might be working on a new black colour variant of OnePlus 3T. OnePlus 3T, if you are not aware, was announced back in November 2016 and was launched in India in December 2016. The 3T is a minor upgrade from the OnePlus 3 and is priced just at Rs 30,000 for 64GB variant and Rs 34,999 for 128GB variant.

On the other hand, we are likely to see OnePlus 5, instead of OnePlus 4, this year due to the resemblance of Number 4 with the symbol of death in the Chinese language. Based on recent rumours, OnePlus 5 is expected to come with a Full display, yet again along with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, 4000 battery, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset. It will be interesting to see how OnePlus lives up to the expectations after a successful run in 2016 with the OnePlus 3 and 3T.
