Qualcomm, the famous Chipset manufacturer, yesterday confirmed that OnePlus 3’s new variant will come with Snapdragon 821. Post that, OnePlus released a teaser revealing the possible launch of OnePlus 3T on November 15 1 PM (E.S.T.)
Based on the teaser, OnePlus 3T will come with Snapdragon 821 clocked at 2.35GHz. Further, as tipped by Evan Blass, the phone will be priced higher at about $479. In comparison, OnePlus 3 was launched at $399 unlocked.
Apart from Snapdragon 821, OnePlus 3T is rumoured to come with an improved Sony IMX395 sensor for its camera, Android Nougat out-of-the box and a bigger internal storage as well. It will sport the same 6GB RAM as seen on the current OnePlus 3.
Moreover, though the smartphone is all set to launch on November 15, the actual release might take some time. As a result, we might not see OnePlus 3T on the shelves until December 2016.
Recently, there were rumours that due to shortage in Optic AMOLED displays, OnePlus might launch an LCD variant. Later on, it was tipped that OnePlus 3T might well be that variant. However, contrary to this, added rumours denied anything of this sort.
Just to brief out, OnePlus 3 comes with a 5.5 inch (1920 x 1080) Optic-AMOLED display. Inside, it house a 2.15 GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It also comes with a whopping 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. To power up the device, there is a 3000 mAh battery.
For the camera, it features a 16 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 8 megapixel front camera. Currently, in India the device sells at Rs 27,999 exclusively through Amazon India.
