We earlier reported that OnePlus is planning to bring a new colour variant of the latest OnePlus 6T smartphone, dubbed as Thunder Purple. Now, the company has officially unveiled the latest paint job.
OnePlus has introduced the new colour option in China and it is available for only 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The new paint job comes with a price tag of 3599 Yuan, which roughly translate to Rs 38,000.
Talking about the new colour option, it comes with a gradient finish on the back panel, which the brand claims is possible with five different layers of frosted glass. Similar to the Midnight Black edition, one can also see the S-shaped line when light falls on the back panel. With this, OnePlus 6T will now be available in Midnight Black, Mirror Black and Thunder Purple colour options.
Rest of the specifications remains the same. The OnePlus 6T comes loaded with a 6.4-inch Optic AMOLED Display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. There will be five colour settings including sRGB, DCI-P3, adaptive colours and more.
The smartphone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Processor coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. The phone will be available in different memory configurations: 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage and 8GB LPDDRX with 256GB UFS 2.1 storage options.
