OnePlus upcoming flagship device will be named the OnePlus 6 and it seems like this has been confirmed by the company’s official teaser.
OnePlus has posted an official teaser on the company’s official Twitter handle. The teaser is just 4 seconds long but it confirms the name of the company’s next smartphone to be OnePlus 6. Also, the teaser says that this phone will pack “the speed you need”.

As per reports, OnePlus 6 could be launched later this month. The source says that the OnePlus 6 will come in three storage variants – 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB. The 64 GB variant will be priced at 3299 Yuan (approx. Rs 34,095), the 128 GB variant will be priced at 3799 Yuan (approx Rs 39,262) while the premium 256 GB variant will cost you 4399 Yuan (approx. Rs 45,463).
Meanwhile, ahead of the launch of OnePlus 6, OnePlus 5T 8GB variant is currently out of stock on OnePlus official site and Amazon India which might hint that the company is getting ready for the launch of OnePlus 6 in India.
OnePlus 6 is no doubt turning out to be an anticipating flagship smartphone for the year 2018. The phone has been subjected to various leaks in the past regarding the specifications of this upcoming OnePlus flagship. Just yesterday, the OnePlus 6 smartphone also received WiFi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA) which confirmed that the device will be powered by Android 8.1.0 Oreo operating system.
Recently, OnePlus confirmed that it will bring the top-notch similar to Apple iPhone X in its next flagship device. The brand’s co-founder Carl Pei confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will join the league of other Android smartphone makers that are going to launch their devices with a top notch.
As per the earlier leaked specs, OnePlus 6 with model number A6000 will feature a 6.28-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED Display with screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will be powered by 2.7GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. OnePlus 6 will have 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage.
Further, in the photography department, the OnePlus 6 will feature a dual-camera setup at the back with a combination of 16-megapixel primary and 20-megapixel secondary Sensors with a f/1.7 aperture. For the front, it will have a 20-megapixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture.
OnePlus 6 will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system most likely with Oxygen OS on top (or Hydrogen OS for China-only devices). The phone will be backed by a 3,450mAh battery which is expected to boast Dash Charge technology. The device will be 7.5mm thin and will weigh 175 grams.
