OnePlus is reportedly gearing up to launch its next flagship, which could be named as OnePlus 6 in early 2018. According to a report, the company will reportedly ditch the OnPlus 5T this time.
Last year, OnePlus launched its flagship devices OnePlus 3 and later on OnePlus 3T. However, OnePlus 3T was the slightly upgraded version of OnePlus 3 with the same design and almost same specs. OnePlus 3T has a better Processor (Snap 820 to 821), selfie camera which was upgraded from 8 megapixels to 16 megapixels and slightly improved battery life, which means ‘T’ is used for the device with improved specs but same design.
However, things will be different this time as it is already reported that Qualcomm is not working on an upgraded version of its latest Snapdragon 835 processor. Plus, the company has recently announced OnePlus 5 JCC+ limited edition, which is currently available in Europe. So, one could expect no special “T” variant of the OnePlus 5.
OnePlus 6 is most likely to feature a bezel-less design and 18:9 display. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 and will run on latest Android Oreo. The device is expected come in same variants like OnePlus 5 — 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage. However, these are only speculations and there is no official word about it, so we suggest you take this report with a pinch of salt.
