OnePlus has rolled out the latest OxygenOS Open Beta updates for both OnePlus 5, OnePlus 5T smartphones. Recently, OnePlus also rolled out the Open Beta of OxygenOS to OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T that brought in Project Treble support to both these smartphones.
The company is rolling out OxygenOS Open Beta update 14 for the OnePlus 5 and 12 for the OnePlus 5T. It is important to note this is a beta update and hence may not be as stable as the official OTA update.
If you are on the latest Open Beta on your OnePlus 5 and 5T, you should get an OTA update notification soon while if you are on the stable OxygenOS version, you will need to manually flash the Open Beta update which requires you to fully wipe your device.
The latest OxygenOS open beta build brings Google Lens support and a couple of camera improvements in both the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T smartphones. It brings optimizations that reduce the “oil painting effect” while also improving the photo clarity.
