After releasing the first OTA post-Android Nougat update last week, OnePlus has released another update which brings in the OxygenOs version 4.0.2. The update is said to have resolved the Google PlayStore issue. The PlayStore issue, as the name suggests, was an issue wherein various OnePlus 3 and 3T users were not able to download apps from the Google PlayStore. However, the Wi-Fi fluctuation issue still persists.
Apart from this, OnePlus claims that the update also brings in some improvements and bug fixes although nothing of that fixes will be a visual change.
The detailed changelog as posted by Tony L. on the OnePlus forums read –
1) Upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat
a)New Notifications Design
b)New Settings Menu Design
c)Multi-Window View
d)Notification Direct Reply
e)Custom DPI Support
f)Added Status Bar Icon options
2)Improved Shelf Customization
3)Updated APN Settings for select Carriers
4)Fixed Proximity Sensor bug during calls
5)Fixed Google Play Store download bug
6)Increased System Stability
However, if you are facing the Wi-Fi fluctuation issue, you can send a PM (Personal Message) to Tony L. from OnePlus.
As always, the update is rolled out on an incremental basis and will take some time to reach each and every user. Till then, check out the top features of Android Nougat running on OnePlus 3 and 3T.
