OnePlus 3 may have 3,500mAh battery

OnePlus 3 will also come with the company's own Dash Charge technology for fast-charging.

OnePlus 3 has been in the news for quite some time now and we have been seeing very interesting leaks regarding the OnePlus 3 every other day. Recently, reports of OnePlus 3 coming in two variants – one with Snapdragon 820, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and another with Snapdragon 820, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage came into light. Now new piece of report has come through from China. According to MyDrivers, OnePlus 3 will have a huge 3500mAh battery, which if true, will be bigger than the 3300mAh battery of the OnePlus 2. The upcoming phone will also come with the company’s own Dash Charge technology for fast-charging. The technology is reportedly faster than Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 standard.

Earlier, OnePlus 3 was spotted on GFXBench website and on Antutu benchmarking websites. Earlier reports also claim that OnePlus plans to implement Oppo’s Super VOOC capable of delivering a full charge in 15 minutes. As per the new leak, OnePlus 3 may also come with 128GB of internal storage. Pricing for the 4GB and 6GB variants have also been revealed. While 4GB RAM variant is priced at $308 (approximately Rs 20,477), and 6GB RAM variant is priced at $385 (approximately Rs 25,608).

As per earlier rumors, OnePlus 3 has a 5-inch display that has full HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 2.1 GHz quad-core processor, 4/6GB RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage, Adreno 530 GPU and 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. Also, OnePlus 3 is rumored to have a 16-megapixel camera and an LED flash in its rear panel and a 8-megapixel camera is in its front for selfies.

There’s no official word about the exact launch date so we’ll just have to wait for OnePlus to begin the teasing about the upcoming OnePlus 3. Earlier this year, OnePlus’ co-founder Carl Pei said that the company will launch the OnePlus 3 by the second quarter of this year and confirmed that the new OnePlus smartphone will come with a brand new design. We’ll update you as soon as we get to hear anything more about the device.
