OnePlus has introduced yet another open beta update for its OnePlus 3 and 3T. Unlike previous Open Beta update, this one brings in a bunch of UI optimisations along with some bug fixes. Before we get into the changelog, if you are on the latest Open Beta update on your OnePlus 3 and 3T, you should get an OTA update notification soon while if you are on the stable OxygenOS 4.1.3, you will need to manually flash the Open Beta update which requires you to fully wipe your device.
Coming back to the update, Open Beta 6 for OnePlus 3T and Open Beta 15 for OnePlus 3 brings an all new dialer and incoming call interface wherein you can simply swipe down to answer and swipe up to reject an incoming call. Apart from this, the UI for Messages, Settings and Contacts have been refreshed as well along with a new action bar for messages and settings.
Further, OnePlus claims to have optimised high power usage notifications through which the system will notify you about an App if it’s taking up too much battery. Besides, the new update brings in Bluetooth optimisations, Night mode optimisations and some bug fixes.
