Ola on Wednesday announced a special fare on Ola Share rides across Delhi-NCR. The new fare will allow users to opt for Ola Share at Rs 50 for the first 7km riding from more than 150 metro stations in Delhi NCR. But there is a catch, you can avail this offer only from Monday to Friday, between 8 AM and 10 PM. Ola claimed that the offer will be valid until February 2017.
The new fare is similar to what its rival Uber is offering in Noida and Ghaziabad. Uber, on November 20, announced a special fare of Rs 50 for all UberPOOL rides inside Noida and Ghaziabad valid till December 25, 2016. Under this offer, users have to pay the above rate up to 10kms distance and can avail the rides between 7 AM and 11 PM.
Interestingly, Ola Share was introduced in Delhi NCR in December last year just one day after Uber introduced its UberPool, to support Delhi government’s odd-even scheme. Both Ola Share and Uber Pool allow people travelling on the same routes to share their rides and save fare.
