‘La Tomatina’ festival has gained a name for itself in India thanks to it being showcased in the recent hit movie ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’. To cash in on the new popularity and to promote the movie, an official game of the movie has been launched which features this festival. Jump Games, part of Zapak, has made the game.
The game is based on the La Tomatina festival that takes place in Spain every year. The festival has people throwing and squashing unlimited tomatoes on their friends and relatives all day long. The game lets you do exactly that! The game lets the user play as Arun (Hrithik Roshan), Imran (Farhan Akhtar) or Kabir (Abhay Deol) and be a part of La Tomatina!
The objective is to aim tomatoes at the other two male characters in the game which will help the user score points. But aiming tomatoes at females will lead to negative scoring, so the user needs to be careful.
Speaking on the launch of the game, Rajneel Kumar, business head, India, Jump Games, says, “There is a huge fitment between games and movies today as it appeals to the youth. The movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is youthful and full of energy. The game has been developed keeping this zest and energy in mind and what better way to reach out to the target audience than through their mobile phones.”
This paid game is available across all operators in India. To download the game you will need to go to WAP site of your operator. For example Airtel users can go to Airtel Live, Vodafone users can go to Vodafone live.
