Obi Worldphone, a mobile manufacturer co-founded by ex-Apple CEO John Sculley, has launched Worldphone S507 in Vietnam. The smartphone is priced at 2990000 VND (approximately Rs 8976).
The Obi Worldphone S507 features a 5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) with 441ppi as pixel density. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, which is paired with 2GB RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is powered by a 3000 mAh Li-Po battery which is said to offer upto 6 hours of Talk time and 250 hours of standby time.
The S507 offers 16GB internal storage of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 32GB via micro SD card. The smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash. There is a 5-meagpixel shooter in its front for selfies and video calling. For connectivity, there is dual sim, 4G, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n) dual-band, WiFi direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS -AGPS/ GLONASS, and a Micro USB 2.0 in the phone. The handset measures 139.8 x 69.6 x 8.9 mm and weighs 140 grams. The smartphone also offers DTS Sound with dual microphone for noise-cancellation. The Sensors include Accelerometer, Proximity, Light and Ambient Light Sensor.
