Obi Mobiles, which was founded by former Apple CEO John Sculley and entered the Indian market earlier in April this year, has announced two more smartphones. Like its earlier devices, these new smartphones are also named after animals. The new Obi Alligator S454 is priced at Rs 6,450 while Obi Hornbill S551 has an MRP of Rs 9,250.
The other handsets in Obi’s kitty are Racoon S401, Fox S453, Crane S550, Leopard S502, Boa S503, Octopus S520, Python S452, and Wolverine S501.
The Obi Alligator offers 1.3 GHz quad core processor, Android KitKat operating system, 4.5 inch HD display, 8 GB internal storage, 1 GB RAM, 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. This 8.2 mm thick handset has a 1600 mAh battery and offers two SIM slots. It has a 32 GB micro SD card slot as well.
The Hornbill on the other hand offers 5.5 inch HD display, Android KitKat operating system, 1.3 GHz quad core processor, 13 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel front camera, 8 GB ROM, 32 GB micro SD card slot, 1 GB RAM, and a 2200 mAh battery. This is also a dual SIM handset.
