Xolo has just announced that it will soon launch an Nvidia Tegra 3 powered quad core Android phone with Xolo T1000. The phone is already available for pre-order on Flipkart for Rs 16,499 and the company has confirmed that it will start shipping the product starting July 15.
The T1000 will be powered by a 1.5 GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core Processor (4+1) with additional battery saver core. It will also get a 12 core Nvidia ULP GeForce graphics processor, 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB inbuilt memory.
Xolo T1000 will get a 4.7 inch HD (1280 x 720 pixel) capacitive touchscreen IPS display based on one-glass solution (OGS) technology and will run on Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean). It will come with an 8 megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, LED flash, 1080p video recording and a 2 megapixel front facing camera. It will also get full HD video playback and support for Nvidia Tegra games through Nvidia TegraZone.
The phone is reasonably lightweight at 167 grams and gets a 2000 mAh battery with 11 hours of claimed talktime on a single charge. Some additional features include active noise cancellation and 3G support for 21 Mbps speed.
