Chinese smartphone brand ZTE launched Nubia Z17 in China in June this year. Now the company has also launched a toned-down version of the Z17 smartphone in China. Named as Nubia Z17 Lite, the device is priced at 2,499 Yuan which is approximately Rs 24,700 and it will be available for sale from September 6. The Nubia Z17 Lite comes in Gold, Blue, Black colour options.
The Nubia Z17 Lite features a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass and is fueled by an octa-core Snapdragon 653 SoC coupled with the Adreno 510 GPU. The smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage with no support for SD card expansion. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system based Nubia UI 5.0 on top and gets its strength from a non-removable 3200mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 fast-charging technology. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device.
On the camera front, the Nubia Z17 Lite features a dual rear camera setup just like the Nubia Z17. There are two 13-megapixel shooters with IMX258 sensor by Sony. One of them in RGB with a f/2.2 aperture, while the other is monochrome. The device has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats with f/2.0 Aperture and 80-degree wide-angle lens. Besides, the smartphone offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and NFC. The handset measures 152.8 x 72.55 x 7.95 mm and weighs 169 grams.
