Bengaluru-based, Gida has launched a small wireless tag, which is named as Yoky Tag. The device is priced at Rs 999 and and is currently available on www.yoky.io. The Yoky Tag is completely designed and manufactured in-house in India.
The Yoky Tag can be attached to any valuables like keys, wallet or anything important and you can track these with your smartphones. You can even find your phone by shaking the tag thrice. Moreover, the Yoky Tag will beep loudly if you are about to leave behind your phone or any other important thing tagged with Yoky.
Gida Yoky Tag can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth. When connection is active, you can find the phone or tag and when the link breaks, the phone and the tag raise an alert. The Yoky Tag claims to uses only 1 per cent battery in over 24 hours.
Gida Yoky Tag can also be used as a fitness tracker, which let to measures your steps and estimated distance and calories. It comes with advanced algorithms that does not mistake car rides, bike rides or flights for steps. Users can customise Yoky Tag with their photos or designs.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Yoky Tag has the has a maximum range of 150 feet. It is compatible with smartphones having Bluetooth 4.0 and above and iOS 8.0 and above or Android 4.3 and above. It is armed with built-in 32-bit ARM cortex SoC and has 3-axis high precision accelerometer. The device gets its power from a 500mAh replaceable battery, that claims to lasts for at least 12 months. Further, the Yoky Tag App is available for free, and can connect up to 8 tags at any time.
