Now show live video to Facebook friends through Color app

To use the app, one needs to install it on their iPhone 4 or Android phone with a video camera.

Facebook has announced the availability of a new photo-sharing – the Color app.
With the new mobile app, users would be able to send live video captured from their mobile phone cameras right to their Facebook friends &#151 it doesn’t matter whether they are on smartphones or on the Internet.

The app is still at an early stage, hence users should not expect it to work like Skype or Facetime since they would not be getting any audio to go with the video.

To use the app, one needs to install it on their iPhone 4 or phone with a video camera. Next they need to log into Facebook. All the photos uploaded by the users on Facebook is visible in reverse order, means the last picture uploaded will appear first and so on.

Hosting a visit on Facebook is more interesting since the users can invite their friends to join in and show them whatever their camera is seeing. For example, if they are walking through a new city, their visitors on Facebook can watch everything through their smartphone camera.

Initially, the Color app will be available to few Facebook users and the company may open it for all later depending on the user response.
