Reliance Jio free services will end starting April 1st after Mukesh Ambani announced last month the Jio Prime membership offer. Further, the infant telecom operator has now joined hands with Paytm to enables users to recharge their Jiomobile number once the company starts charging for its services. If you are not aware, Reliance Jio Prime membership offer will enable you to continue to enjoy the current Happy New Year offer for another one year. To subscribe, you will need to pay Rs 99 as subscription charges.Further, starting 1st April 2017, the subscribed users will then have to pay just Rs 303 per month to avail free unlimited calls, SMS and 1GB internet per day. In other words, one can then avail 28GB of data for just Rs 303 with a validity of 28 days. Also, Jio users will still continue to enjoy free 4G internet from 2 AM to 5 AM at night. On the other hand, Jio is offering 30GB of 4G Mobile Data for postpaid users at the same price and same other benefits.
Note that, Reliance Jio will only charge for 4G mobile data while calls and SMS will remain free. This is because Reliance Jio uses VoLTE (Voice over LTE) for calling and SMS. In other words, all the calls and SMS you send via your Jio number actually happens through the internet.

For this, both of them will utilise spectrum in the 850 Hz, 1800 Hz and 2300MHz band. This will help Reliance Jio to increase its reach to over 90 per cent of the population in rural areas.
