The Hewlett-Packard webOS operating system for tablets and mobiles is going to have an addition, In App payments, which will make the users pay more for extra features in an application already downloaded on their devices.
The ‘in app payment’ system was started by the Apple, Research in Motion followed suit and now Hewlett Packard is the latest to offer it to its users.
HP will also be providing promotional offers and discounts to the users along with it.
WebOS operating system has lot of advantages compared to its peers. Today most of the applications for phones do not work optimally on tablets forcing the developers to write code for two versions of apps.
In contrast, the WebOS app developers just have to design once and the app resizes according to the device. The lighter version of the app opens on the mobile device whereas it resizes on the TouchPad.
Also, two WebOS devices can connect with each other and exchange data even without Internet facility.
Now pay more for extra features of WebOS apps
WebOS is getting in app payments, in which users would be able to buy extra features in an app which is already downloaded.
