Motorola has slashed the price of its Moto G (2nd Gen) by huge Rs 3,000. The smartphone, which was earlier available for Rs 12,999, is now available for Rs 9,999 from Flipkart.
The dual SIM Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen) has a 5 inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Upgradable to Android Lollipop, it is armed with the 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 quad core processor and 1 GB RAM. It offers 16 GB built in storage and a 32 GB micro SD card slot as well.
The Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen) has a 2070 mAh battery and weighs 149 grams. Measuring 70.7×141.5×10.99 mm, the smartphone offers an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. The rear camera has auto focus, slow motion video mode, burst mode, HDR, LED flash light support and panorama mode as well.
This 3G smartphone has WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth, 3G, FM radio, and GPS with AGPS and GLONASS supprt as well.
At Rs 9,999, the Moto G 9 (2nd Gen) will compete with Lenovo A7000 (Rs 8,999), Honor 4X (Rs 9,999), Asus Zenfone 5 (Rs 8,499), Micromax Canvas Nitro, Samsung Core Prime 4G etc.
Recently, Xiaomi had slashed price of its Redmi 2, Mi 4 and Redmi Note 4G while OnePlus One and Huawei Honor 6 too have got their priced revised.
