Just few months back, Asus announced world’s first smartphone with 4 GB RAM, called the Zenfone 2 which was also launched in India just yesterday. Now today Lenovo has announced its first and world’s second smartphone with 4 GB RAM, which is named as Lenovo K80.
The Lenovo K80, apart from the huge amount of RAM, also offers a mammoth 4000 mAh battery. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom chipset which has a 1.2 GHz processor. The K80 sports a 5.5-inch display with full HD resolution. It has 64 GB of internal memory and a 13 megapixel rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization. The 8.5mm-thin Lenovo K80 runs Android Lollipop and comes in black, silver, and red colour options.
Lenovo K80 will be available in China for 1,799 CNY (Rs 18,388 approximately) starting April 30 but there is no information as of now about its launch in other markets.
Note that Xiaomi has also announced a smartphone called Mi Note Pro, which is expected to be released next month, with 4 GB RAM. It has a 5.7 inch display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and Gorilla Glass 3. Besides, Xiaomi Mi Note Pro has Snapdragon 810 comprising of a 64 bit octa core processor, 64GB inbuilt storage, 13 megapixel rear camera, 4 megapixel front camera, and a 3000 mAh battery.
