A day after Xiaomi brought its first ever laptop and hailed it as a better device than Apple’s MacBook Air, noted PC maker Lenovo has turned the table on Xiaomi. Lenovo today announced its latest laptop for the China market which is ironically named as Lenovo Air 13 Pro.
Not only the name, the Lenovo Air 13 Pro also rivals the Mi Notebook Air in terms of price; its lowest model with Intel Core i5 has a price tag of 4999 Yuan just as the 13.3 inch display variant of Mi Notebook Air. However, reportedly this version’s price will go up to Yuan 5,499 after the pre-sale period. There are two other versions of the laptop with Intel Core i7 Processor (256 GB and 512 GB storage variants) which are priced at 6299 Yuan and 6999 Yuan respectively but are not available for purchase currently. The lower end model of Lenovo Air 13 Pro has 4 GB RAM and 256 GB storage space.
The Lenovo Air 13 Pro has a 13.3 inch display like the Xiaomi device and it weighs 1.29 kgs compared to 1.28 kgs of Xiaomi laptop. All the three versions of Lenovo Air 13 Pro have Nvidia 940MX graphics card and they have additional fingerprint scanner. All the three versions of the Lenovo laptop have Windows 10 operating system.
