A day after having been spotted on Chinese verification site TENAA, Nokia X has surfaced yet again and this time in significantly more detail through live shots. With less than a week to go for the launch, the leaked pictures confirm that the Nokia TA-1099 will come with a notch on top of its 5.8-inch FHD+ 19:9 display which will feature a Resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels.
The live shots reveal that the Nokia X is indeed going to feature a dual rear camera setup with an LED flash, all aligned vertically next to each other at the centre. Since HMD went all in for a bezel-less display, the fingerprint scanner finds its way to the back of the phone below the camera unit below which the Nokia branding is engraved.
On the front, Nokia seems to have made a gamble by trying to go full-screen but still opting to keep its Nokia logo on the bottom chin. The back of the device appears to be made of glass which means HMD has gone the same way it did while designing the Nokia 8 Sirocco.
There’s only a Black variant in the leaked pictures which could also mean the company has reserved its high-end phones for limited colour options. The Nokia X will be unveiled during an HMD event in China on May 16.
