Nokia has sent out an invitation to many media organisations for the launch of Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320 smartphones in India. Nokia Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320 run Windows Phone 8 Update 3 packaged as Lumia Black. The launch event is set to take place in New Delhi, India.
Nokia had announced the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320 large screen smartphones, also known as phablets, at Nokia World 2013 in October. Nokia has packaged the Windows Phone 8 Update 3 as Lumia Black with several exclusive apps for Lumia devices.
The Lumia 1520 features a 6 inch IPS LCD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. The display integrates ClearBlack technology that shows darker blacks while cancelling the reflection from bright lights. This Nokia handset has a quad core 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 mobile processor and Adreno 330 graphics processing unit. It has 2 GB RAM and 32 GB on-board storage, and a Memory card slot as well that can hold up to a 64 GB micro SD card.
Nokia has integrated a 20.7 megapixel image sensor with PureView imaging technology. The image sensor is aided by Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash. The front facing 1.2 megapixel camera can be used for video chats.
The Lumia 1520 features dual Band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPS with A-GPS, and GLONASS support. Nokia has packed a 3400 mAh battery in it. It offers Lumia 1520 in yellow, white, black and red colours.
Nokia’s Lumia 1320 also features a 6 inch display but has 720p HD native resolution. Nokia has housed a dual core 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 mobile processor with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB on-board storage. This phablet has a memory card capable of holding up to 64 GB storage. At the rear, it features a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and a front facing VGA camera for video calls. Lumia 1320 also offers WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS with A-GPS and Glonass support. Nokia bundles a non-removable 3400 mAh battery inside this large screen phablet. The Lumia 1320 comes in yellow, white, black and red colour options.
