Nokia teasing a “charged up” phone. Coming this May 29

In recent times, several Nokia phones including Nokia 2, Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 have appeared in the certification websites. So we could expect one of these to be launched at the event. Rumours also point towards a phone called Nokia X6 whose alleged specifications got leaked on the web recently.

HMD Global owned Nokia has teased about an upcoming phone on Twitter. The Finnish company is promoting the phone with a hashtag #chargedup, leading to speculations that the upcoming phone could have a big battery or may debut with some sort of battery-oriented theme.

“What’s next in the #Nokiamobile story? Find out on Tuesday 29th May. It’s time to get #ChargedUp,” Tweeted Nokia.

The event is scheduled at 7.40 pm MSK (10.10 pm IST) in Moscow.

The tweet has no other information.

Earlier the company had released media invitations for the May 29 event. As per the invitation, HMD’s top line of officials including the company’s CMA, CPO, and CEO are going to attend the event.

In recent times, several Nokia phones including Nokia 2, Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 have appeared in the certification websites. So we could expect one of these to be launched at the event.

There is also a strong possibility of purported Nokia X6 making its debut at the Moscow event. Nokia X6 is expected to come with a 5.8-inch FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and of 2280 × 1080 pixels. Besides, the phone is rumoured to have octa-core SND 636 processor, Andreno 509 GPU, 3GB/4GB options and up to 64GB of onboard storage.

Nokia X6 may have dual 16MP and 5MP rear camera with electronic image stabilization. A 16MP front sensor is also expected.
If launched, it will debut with 8.1 Oreo operating system. As per rumours it will have 3,060mAh battery with Qualcomm’s QuickCharge 3.0 technology that can charge the phone to up to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
