Nokia is reportedly working on yet another Windows Phone 8 based smartphone – Lumia 625. LiveSide spotted the listing of the Nokia Lumia 625 at the Chinese Telecommunications Certification website – TENAA. The new Lumia 625 appears to be slotted between the Lumia 620 and Lumia 720 smartphones. As of now, there is no official information on the Lumia 625.
As per the report, the purpoted Nokia Lumia 625 has a 4.7-inch display with 480×800 pixel resolution. Besides, it has a dual-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile processor, 512 MB RAM and a 2000 mAh battery.
This smartphone is said to support 4G LTE networks for those who reside outside the USA and Canada. There is also a Dual Transfer Mode that takes advantage of the multi-slot GPRS capability for enabling voice and data simultaneously. The Lumia 625 would be offered in RM-641 and RM-643 variants where the latter model will be meant for rest of the world, the report further added.
Quite likely, this handset will come with the Windows Phone 8 Amber update by default. As of now, it is difficult to estimate the arrival time and price of this handset. We hope that it will be priced appropriately between the Lumia 620 and Lumia 720 smartphones.
