Nokia, ahead of MWC 2023, announced that it is changing its logo for the first time in 60 years to signal a strategy shift. The new logo comprises of five different shapes forming the word NOKIA. The iconic blue colour of the old logo has been replaced for a variety of colours depending on the use case. Apart from that, the brand debuted three new smartphones, including the Nokia G22, C22 and the C32.
The change in the logo comes as a way to represent the shift in strategy. Lundmark said in an interview recently, that Nokia is no longer just a smartphone company, but a “business technology company”. In addition to growing its telecom equipment business, Nokia is also going to focus on selling equipment to other businesses, including private 5G networks and equipment for automated factories.

The Nokia G22 is touted to be that Nokia device that can be repaired within a matter of minutes. “Starting with Nokia G22, we’ll be designing and building smartphones that are easier to repair from home”, said Nokia. Nokia phones have partnered with iFixit – who offer manuals and tools with the aim of making it easier for you to fix your stuff.
The Nokia G22 is available in Blue and Grey, starting at €179 (approx Rs 15,600). It sports a 6.52-inch HD+ 90Hz display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Nokia G22 is powered by a Unisoc T606 Chipset with 4GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB storage.
On the back, there’s a triple camera system with a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro unit, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front 8MP camera can perform face unlock even with a mask, and there’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for added security.
The Nokia G22 phone ships with Android 12, and is promised to get 2 OS upgrades and 3 years of security updates. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, 4G LTE, and GPS. It gets a 5,050mAh battery which supports 20W wired charging. The device is also IP52 rated and gets a 3.5mm Headphone jack alongside a USB-C port.
Nokia C22 Price, Specs
The Nokia C22 comes in two variants, a 2GB+64GB and a 3GB+64GB model, while the prices start at EUR 129 (approx Rs 11,310). The Nokia C22 is available in Midnight Black and Sand colour options.
The Nokia C22 is being touted as a highly durable product thanks to IP52 splash and dust protection, toughened 2.5D display glass, and rigid metal chassis housed within a polycarbonate unibody design.
The device sports a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 1600 x 720 pixels resolution. The device is powered by a Unisoc 9863A1 Processor and is paired with up to 3GB of RAM and 64GB storage, which is further expandable up to 256GB.
The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with a claimed three-day backup, and supports 10W charging. It has a 13MP primary camera sensor and a 2MP macro sensor, paired with an 8MP front camera. The device supports 4G LTE, gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 13 (Go Edition). Other connectivity options include single-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, FM Radio, GPS and a USB-C port for charging.

Nokia C32 Price, Specs
The Nokia C32 gets a 3GB+64GB RAM variant and a 4GB+128GB RAM variant with prices starting at EUR 129 (approx Rs 12,187). It will come in Charcoal, Autumn Green, and Beach Pink colour options.
The C32 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 1600 x 720 pixels resolution. The device is powered by a Unisoc 9863A1 processor and is paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage, which is further expandable up to 256GB.
It also packs a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging. It has a 50MP primary camera sensor and a 2MP macro sensor, paired with an 8MP front camera.
