About a month back, Nokia confirmed its re-entry into the smartphone market. Now images of a phone called Nokia C1 has been spotted on a Chinese website, cnmo.
As per the images, the Nokia C1 comes in unibody design with curved edges. The website, quoting its sources, claimed that the Nokia C1 has a 5 inch display with full HD (1080p) resolution. Most importantly, the Nokia C1 has the unreleased Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, which is still in beta form and is likely to be launched within weeks.
No other information about the purported Nokia C1 is available right now.
Nokia sold its phone business to Microsoft under which the former is not allowed to use the brand name ‘Nokia’ for its phones. So if the Nokia C1 do exists, it may come out in 2016.
But whenever it comes out, it will have a tough time for sure, especially in Indian market where the MNCs facing really tough competition from both Indian and Chinese brands.
