HMD Global has today announced the launch of its latest budget-centric smartphone, the Nokia C1 Android Go Edition. The smartphone comes with a price tag of 5,999 Kenyan Shilling (approx Rs 4,180) and it will be available for purchase in Africa, Middle East and APAC.
The latest Nokia C1 Android Go Edition comes with a 5.45-inch FWVGA+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Processor along with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The memory can be further expanded up to 65GB via microSD card.
The major drawback of the smartphone is that it still runs on the 3G network and not on 4G. The comes with a 5-megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED flash and f/2.4 aperture. For the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie shooter with LED flash.
The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie and it falls under Android Go Edition. The phone is backed by a 2500mAh battery. On the connectivity front, it supports 3G, WiFi, GPS, and Micro USB port. The phone also comes with a 3.5mm Audio Jack along with dedicated Google Assistant button.
