The dual SIM variant of Nokia Asha 301, which was unveiled in February this year, is now available for Rs 5140.
Nokia Asha 301 runs on the Nokia Series 40 platform and features 3.5G connectivity. It has an Alphanumeric keypad along with a 2.4-inch LCD colour display with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution.
The Nokia 301 features a 3.2 Megapixel camera with a range of image-capture, editing and sharing options, including ‘panorama’ for Wide-Angle and group photos. It also comes with burst mode feature that allows it to capture five pictures in one press.
The Nokia 301 also has a self-portrait mode with the rear-facing camera with voice prompts that can guide the user to position the phone correctly without needing to see the screen.
Additionally, users can post photos directly from their gallery onto social networks and share other content using Slam, a social media App which works by transferring content such as images or contact cards to an adjacent Bluetooth-enabled phone, without needing to pair the devices.
The handset allows YouTube streaming, and also has apps such as Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp. The phone also features a ‘lite’ version of Mail for Exchange that lets users check work email and sync their calendars and contacts.
The phone will be made available in five different colours including cyan, yellow, magenta, black and white while presently only the black, white and cyan color variants have been made available.
