Nokia announces Ovi Mail, powered by Yahoo

Yahoo will now be providing support for all the services on Nokia's Ovi mail.

Finnish handset maker Nokia has announced the availability of the full version of its Ovi Mail, which will now get full background support from the Yahoo.

The email service is now available in both the online and the mobile phone version for all Nokia internet enabled devices. User of Ovi Mail, which had a beta version prior to this, can access this service free of cost by making use of any of the two mediums.
Users will get up to 1GB of free storage for emails and attachments.

The mobile phone version of the Ovi Mail will only support emails, whereas its online web version will also have support for instant or chatting too.

Users who want to try out the new service can log on to mail.ovi.com and register themselves free of cost for accessing Ovi Mail from both web and mobile phone.
