Nokia has officially unveiled its first Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system based smartphone – the Lumia 800, in white colour.
Announced back in October last year, the Nokia Lumia 800 smartphone was available in Cyan, Magenta and Black colours.
Designed with unique unibody coloured polycarbonate shell, the Lumia 800 features a nice 3.7-inch capacitive Amoled ClearBlack display that offers crisper rendition of both colours and text. Sporting the WVGA (480×800), the smartphone comes with an 8 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, dual-LED Flash and Autofocus feature. Unfortunately, there’s no front facing camera which will be a disappointment for many.
The Lumia 800’s polycarbonate shell has the colour mixed right form its formation process and has hundreds of white paint pigments to achieve the pure white colour.
Nokia plans to make the Lumia 800 white colour edition available later this month in UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Scandinavia, Finland, Poland, and Switzerland.Other countries will follow soon after that.
As of now there is no update on the arrival date of white Lumia 800 smartphone in India. Considering the current state of affairs and campaigns, we believe that this model might be available in limited edition exclusively.
