HMD Global will launch Nokia 6.1 Plus in India on August 21 for which the company has already sent the invites. Now ahead of the launch, it has been revealed that Nokia 6.1 Plus will be a Flipkart exclusive in India.
Flipkart is now running a video teaser on its websitewhich features music directors Shankar, Ehsaan & Loy and even Oppo is promoting it on its Twitter handle which hints at the development.
It is expectedthatHMD Global also announce the Nokia 5.1 Plus along with the Nokia 6.1 Plus. The company has already made Nokia 6.1 Plus support page live in India before.
To recall, the Nokia 6.1 Plus is an Android One smartphone. It was first launched as a Nokia X6 in China. The smartphone is likely to be made available with4GB RAM, 64GB storage in India. It may be priced under Rs 20,000 in India. It will compete with the Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M1) and Xiaomi A2 smartphones.
The Dual-SIM Nokia 6.1 Plus features a 5.8-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) display. It has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoCcoupled with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo and packs a 3060mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
There is dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with a f/2.0 aperture. It has a 16-megapixel front camera along with a f/2.0 aperture. Afingerprint sensor at the back and Face Unlock feature are present in the smartphone.
Nokia 6.1 Plushas 64GB of internal storage and an expandable up to 400GB via micro SD card slot. It has various connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and Type-C.
