Last week HMD Global announced that the Nokia 6.1 Plus will be available offline across top mobile retailers in India and here we are just a few days after as the company prepares its stocks for the offline sale of the cheaper Nokia 5.1 Plus smartphone. The Helio P60-powered device will be made available through offline channels starting from January 15.
The news comes from a report by NokiaPowerUser who revealed that the Nokia 5.1 Plus will be sold through offline stores from Tuesday, January 15. The price of the offline selling variant will be Rs 400 lesser that its online price and the device will thus be made available for Rs 10,599. However, online pricing is expected to be the same.
To recall, Nokia 5.1 Plus has a 5.86-inch HD+ display, 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor, 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via micro SD card slot. For the camera, the phone has dual rear cameras of a 13-megapixel primary and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. It’s fuelled by a 3,060mAh battery.

The Nokia 5.1 Plus is an Android One device and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box but can be updated to Google’s latest Android 9 Pie right away. With Android Pie, the device will now feature App actions, Adaptive battery, New System navigation, Slices, Adaptive brightness and Google’s Digital Wellbeing.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus will be available offline for an asking price of Rs 10,599 from January 15.
