HMD Global has announced the launch of its next-generation of Nokia smartphones in India. The brand has introduced the Nokia 5.1 for Rs 14,999, Nokia 2.1 for Rs 6,999 and 3GB RAM variant of the Nokia 3.1 is priced at Rs 11,999. The smartphones will be available at top retail stores across the country and online on Nokia Mobile Shop and Paytm Mall.
HMD Global has also announced a slew of launch offers of the latest smartphones. Customers opting the above-mentioned smartphones will get 10 per cent cashback on Paytm recharges and bill payments, when they the scan the Paytm Mall QR code at a retail outlet. ICICI Bank credit card users will get 5 per cent cashback on the purchase of the phones.
Apart from this, Vodafone and Idea users will get two offers. On recharge of Rs 149 prepaid pack, users will get 1GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. Consumers upgrading from 2G or 3G phone to the new Nokia 3.1 will get 1GB data/day for 28 days. Coming to the second offer, on recharge of Rs 595, users will get unlimited calls, 100 SMS per day and 18 GB of data per month for 6 months.
Starting with Nokia 5.1, the device is made from a single block of 6000 series aluminium and has gone through 33 stage process of machining, anodising and polishing. The phone features a 5.5-inch Full HD+ display with 2.5d curved glass and a tall aspect ratio of 18:9. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P18 processor along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and it bears a 3,000mAh battery.

Coming to the Nokia 3.1, HMD Global has announced the 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variant for Rs 11,999. To recall, Nokia 3.1 with 2GB RAM was launched in India earlier this month for Rs 10,499.

On the connectivity front, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, hybrid dual-SIM and micro USB port. The phone measures 146.25 x 68.65 x 8.7mm and weighs 138.3 grams.
Nokia 2.1 is the successor of Nokia 2 and it comes loaded with quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of ROM. The phone is a part of Android Oreo (Go Edition) and it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.
