Microsoft has announced a new entry-level mobile phone, Nokia 230, which it reportedly will sell in India and other Asian markets in December (next month). It is expected to be priced at $55 or approximately Rs 3,674.
As per the official page, the Nokia 230 comes with Series 30+ operating system and has a 2.8 inch display that comes with 320×240 pixels resolution. The phone has 16 MB of RAM and a 32 GB micro SD card slot. It has a 1200 mAh replaceable battery that claims to offer 23 hours of 2G talktime or 27 days of standby.
It has a micro USB port, Bluetooth 3.0 and a mini SIM card slot using which you can have 2G access. The Nokia 230 also offers a 2 megapixel rear fixed focus camera with 2X zoom and LED flash. There is a 2 megapixel camera in its front too that can capture still images and record videos. It has FM radio as well as MP3 and video players.
Besides, the Nokia 230 is armed with some useful tools like calculator, recorder, clock, calender, flash light, Facebook, Twitter and Opera Mini browser.
