Nokia is reported to be working on an entry-level smartphone dubbed as Nokia 2 for a while now. Now, a new Nokia handset has appeared on the popular Benchmarking site, Geekbench, which could be none other than Nokia 2.
The Geekbench listing reveals a code name ‘Unknown Heart’, which could be meant for Nokia 2. The listing further reveals that the smartphone has scored 422 in single-core test and 1146 in a multi-score test. The scores hint that it will not be a powerhouse and it is meant to be an entry-level device.
The listing also reveals that the smartphone will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and it will be powered by a quad-core Processor clocked at 1.27GHz. However, it does not reveal the processor make, but many speculate that this could be Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 chipset. Further, the phone is reported to come with a 1GB of RAM. There is no information about the display, battery and other details at the moment.
Meanwhile, the phone’s design was allegedly shared online. The smartphone design was shared along with a drawing of the Nokia 3. The front of the device seems to feature on-screen navigation controls as opposed to the physical buttons used in the Nokia 3.
The top houses a front-facing camera along with an earpiece and Nokia branding at the top, while at the right side, there are volume controls and power on/off button. The screen size looks to be the same 5-inch as we have seen in Nokia 3. Stay tuned with us for more information about the upcoming Nokia 2.
