OnePlus 2, which till now was available through invite mode only, will be available through open sales starting from midnight today till November 27.
OnePlus 2 was launched in India back in July this year and was made available in August through invite mode. The 64 GB model of the device is available in the country for Rs 24,999. OnePlus 2, which measures 151.8 x 74.9 x 9.85 mm and weighs 175 grams, has a 5.5 inch display that comes with full high definition Resolution thus offering 401 ppi pixel density. This LCD display has Corning Gorilla Glass protection as well.
Besides, it offers 4 GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Chipset that has an octa core processor made in 64 bit architecture and Adreno 430 graphics processor. The OnePlus 2 has a 13 megapixel rear camera that comes with 1.3µm light-collecting pixels which the company claims is the largest for any 13 megapixel sensor featured in a smartphone. The camera is armed with f/2.0 Aperture and six-element lens to prevent distortion. For selfies, the OnePlus 2 offers a wide angle 5 megapixel camera in the front.
Other than that OnePlus 2 has fingerprint sensor, two nano SIM card slots, USB type C charger, Bluetooth 4.1, dual Band WiFi, GPS with GLONASS, 4G connectivity and Android based Oxygen OS.
