Nissan has introduced a new special edition of its SUV, Terrano for the Indian market. Dubbed as the Terrano Sport, the new edition will be available at a price tag of Rs 12.22 lakh (ex-showroom) with the new cosmetic enhancements on the exterior as well as on the interiors.
Starting with the design, the new Sports edition gets a dual-tone colour cosmetic graphics combined with the new racing stripes on the hood, fenders, rear bumper, doors and all-black roof wraps. Further, the design language of the SUV remains the same as the standard variant including the DRLs and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, the Terrano is said to equipped with 50+ features under the Intelligent Mobility Package and 3 Years of free service. The SUV now equipped with Geofencing, Speed Alert, Curfew Alert, nearby pit stops, Locate my car and Share my car location. It comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system offering the navigation system, steering mounted audio/phone controls, touch lane change indicator, dual-airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution) and more.
Other than this, the heart of the Terrano Sport borrowed from 1.5-liter standard Diesel variant. The 1461cc displacement, 4-cylinder engine chunks the maximum power of 84 bhp at 3750 rpm and 200 Nm of peak torque at 1750 rpm. Mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, the SUV is said to deliver the mileage of 19.8 kmpl.
