After launching the App in March 2016 worldwide, Nintendo has finally introduced its ‘Miitomo’ app here in India. The app is available to download on both iOS and Android platform. 
One can either log in using Nintendo Network ID for those using Wii U or 3DS, Facebook, Google+ or Twitter account or you can create a new Nintendo Account. Post that there is a small download after which it should be same irrespective of how you logged in. For those who are not aware, Miitomo is a smart app which lets you customise and share avatar with your friends and much more. This avatars or customization is known as Mii.
As of now, customization like hats, costumes and host of other things are available as in-app purchases which can be done by the way of coins. You can also earn coins by completing some game tasks such as trivia etc. Or else you can straight purchase coins by paying Rs 60 to 1,000 coins up to Rs 4,600 for 105,000 coins.
Interestingly, this app launch might be an indication that Nintendo’s might be introducing the likes of Super Mario Run and Nintendo’s other mobile services in India. Up till now, India hasn’t been one of the favourite markets of the company and we hope this app launch changes it for better in future.
