Next iPhone to come with touch sensitive home button: Rumours

After a lot of user complaints about low internal storage, Apple is also likely to dump 16GB memory option.

With the official launch not far away, we have already seen a lot of leaks and rumours about the next iPhone. There are rumours that the plus variant of the next iPhone may come with the dual-camera set up and Apple might remove the jack. Meanwhile a interesting claim has been made as per which the upcoming iPhone will have a Touch- Sensitive Home button.

According to the famous journalist from Bloomberg, Mark Gurman, the next iPhone will have a touch sensitive home button with haptic feedback integration which means that Apple will finally dump the outdated home button.

Gurman also confirms the absence of headphone jack and dual camera set up rumours. A similar set up has been seen recently in the Huawei P9 which offers exposed and better quality images in different lighting conditions. In addition to this, it is believed that the new iPhone will boast dual speakers at the bottom and the company may go for ear-pods.

The name of the next model is still a suspense. Some rumours claims that Apple might continue with iPhone 6 lineup while others claims that iPhone 7 seems to be the ideal name.

After a lot of user complaints about low internal storage, Apple is also likely to dump 16GB memory option for a bigger 32GB variant. We still believe that inclusion of a micro card will really resolve the storage problem in iPhones.

However, we are really excited to see as to how Apple integrates the new touch sensitive button. Recently we saw how Meizu integrated this feature with the single button acting as Home, Back and Menu button with different tap combinations.

With sales going down significantly, the new series of iPhones will be quite critical and Apple will certainly hope to increase sales this holiday season.
