New ZUK smartphone with Snapdragon 821 SoC, 4GB of RAM spotted

The smartphone boasts 3000 mAh battery and Android Marshmallow operating system.

An unannounced ZUK branded smartphone has been found listed on Chinese certification site, TENAA. Previously, Lenovo launched two Zuk range smartphones in China, so this one is most likely to be of Lenovo as well.

As per listing, the upcoming ZUK phone features a 5.5-inch display with resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. It is powered by a 2.35 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. The phone sports a 13-megapixel shooter with LED flash on the back and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. Further, as per listing the ZUK (Lenovo) smartphone is backed up by a 3000 mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. The handset measures 142.9 x 74.5 x 7.68 mm and weighs 160 grams.

Last month, Lenovo launched ZUK Z2 in India as Lenovo Z2 Plus. The Lenovo Z2 Plus comes in two variants – one with 3GB RAM and 32 GB of internal memory at Rs 17,999 while another has 4GB RAM and 64 GB of storage at Rs 19,999. It offers 5-inch display with full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, 2.15 quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor, Adreno 530 GPU, Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, and a 3,500 mAh battery. Further, it comes with a 13-megapixel main shooter with LED flash and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers Dual SIM, with VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Type C.
