Xiaomi had launched Mi Max in India recently in two versions – one with 3GB RAM and 32GB Internal Memory at Rs 14,999 and another with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage priced at Rs 19,999. Prior to that, a lower version of Xiaomi Mi Max with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage was spotted online. Now the same model has gone official in China and is priced at 1199 yuan (approximately Rs 12,106).
The Mi Max 2GB variant has the same features as the other two, apart from memory and processor. The new variant comes with a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor. Like the other two, it has 6.44-inch Full HD (1920×1080) IPS display and has a micro SD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 4850 mAh battery. It also features a fingerprint scanner which is located on the rear panel.
The smartphone boasts a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 85-degree wide-angle lens. Besides, the smartphone offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, Micro-USB 2.0 port, AGPS and GLONASS. The handset measures 173.1 x 88.3 x 7.5 mm and weighs 203 grams.
