New update brings VoLTE support to Nubia Z9 Mini smartphone

Nubia today announced that it has rolled outAndroid 5.1.1 update for Z9 Mini smartphone, which has gone live from today itself. The new update brings long-awaited VoLTE support, Nubia 4.0, along with security patches for Google and some camera upgrades. Moreover, this update also brings Nubia’s Frame interactive Technology, which enables consumers to control their phones through the screen edges.

To recollect, Nubia Z9 Mini was launched in India way back in 2015 for Rs 16,999. It has a Sony Exmor R 16-megapixel rear camera with flashlight and auto focus while in its front lies an 8-megapixel camera supported by the NeoVision 5.0 SLR System, which enables the user with excellent manual photography possibilities. The camera also showcases a 2.0 that perfects blurred backgrounds in the day and is a great fit for night photography, as well.

The Nubia Z9 Mini has a glass design with a 5-inch full SHARP CGS display with 3 protection. It is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor that clocks in at 1.5 GHz, along with 2 GB RAM. There is 16 GB of internal memory in the phone along with an expandable storage slot for up to a 128 GB micro SD card. Besides, the device offers WiFi, 4.0, OTG support, GPS, DLNA, FM radio, and a 2900 non-removable battery too. It measures 141.3*69.8*8.2mm and weighs 147 grams.
