New Nubia smartphone coming this October 17

The device is expected to have a dual rear camera setup.

China based smartphone maker, Nubia will hold an event on October 17 in China where it will announce a device. As per reports, the device will be a successor of Nubia Z11 Mini and will be called as Nubia Z11 Mini S. Many media organisations have reportedly got an invite for that event as well.

Currently, not much is known about the Nubia Z11 Mini S but it is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup. Meanwhile, Huawei is set to launch Honor 6X on October 18 while Oppo R9s is coming this October 19 – both launching in China. So there will be three back to back events in China on 17, 18, 19 October.
New Nubia smartphone
Nubia had launched Nubia Z11 Mini earlier this year in China at 1499 Yuan or approximately Rs 15,265. To recall, Nubia Z11 Mini is armed with a 5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS display. It is powered by Snapdragon 617 64-bit octa-core processor, Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB RAM. There is 64 GB of internal storage in the phone apart from which it has an expandable storage slot that can hold a micro SD card of up to 200GB capacity. The smartphone runs on 5.1 Lollipop operating system and comes fitted with a 2800 mAh battery that has support too. The phone has 2.5D curved front and rear panels with a metal frame.

The Nubia Z11 Mini has a 16-megapixel shooter and an flash light in its rear panel. The rear camera has phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) feature. In its front lies an 8-megapixel camera. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, LTE with VoLTE support, fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, WiFi, and support. The phone has a dimension of 141.9 x 70.4 x 8 mm and it weighs 138 grams.
