Yesterday,we reported abouta fresh leak of the upcoming Nokia 3310 mobile phone, wherein we got a fair bit of idea about its expected design and features. Now, a new render image of the device has been surfaced online, which shows the upcoming Nokia 3310 in its full glory.
As per leaked image, the smartphone will have a coloured display which will be much bigger this time. Further, the new Nokia 3310 will retain its oval design and will be thinner & lighter than before. The phone’s design in render image is in line with the yesterday’s leak, wherein the new avatar of Nokia 3310 phone was expected to be a feature phone. Interestingly, some previous reports claimed that Nokia might give Android on the new Nokia 3310. Moreover, the new avatar of this all-time favourite feature phone will look somewhat similar to the classic Nokia 3310. The only difference would be in its thickness and weight, which will make this classic feature phone slimmer, lighter and more attractive. Moreover, the position of a physical key will remain the same, but there will be tweaking in the key size. Further as per leak, the new Nokia 3310 will have multiple colour options to select from, which will include Red, Green and Yellow, along with classic Grey, Black, Blue and Ash colours.
As for the pricing, a previous report claimed that Nokia 3310 will cost around €59 (approximately Rs 4,189) and is also expected to launch in India in May.
Just to give an overview of older Nokia 3310, it was a GSM mobile phone launched way back in 2000 was manufactured at the Copenhagen Nokia site in Denmark. It was the successor of popular Nokia 3210. It was considered one of the most successful phones and Nokia claimed to have sold 126 million units worldwide. It was known for its durability, indestructible build and big battery life. So we would expect the new avatar of Nokia 3310 to continue the legacy of its predecessor.
As reported recently, Nokia is expected to announce its Nokia 6 (which is as of now is China exclusive), Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and new avatar of Nokia 3310 on this Sunday at MWC 2017 event. The Finnish company might spill some beans on the long-rumoured flagship Nokia 8 smartphone as well.
