To deal with increasing opposition’s attack on the recent demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, India’s Prime Minister has now introduced a new survey for the same in his app, NM.
“I want your first-hand view on the decision taken regarding currency notes. Take part in the survey on the NM App,” Narendra Modi tweeted.
Opening up the app, you will see a ‘Share Your Opinion’ banner on the top. Tapping on that will reveal the login window. After Signing up/Signing In, The App will ask you to choose the preferred language post which the survey will begin with questions like “Do you have any suggestions/ideas or insights you would like to share with PM Narendra Modi?”, “Do you think black money exists in India?”, “Do you think the evil of corruption and black money need to be fought and eliminated?, What do you think of government’s move of banning old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes?”
In our opinion, this can be helpful in getting real-time feedback from the people of India. However, conducting this survey from an app is still not the best way to conduct it as in a country like India, accessing the app on a mobile phone is still doesn’t take place in a majority. Even though it is one of the most convenient ways of conducting the survey, still this won’t show the actual feedback.
