ZTE has finally announced the first smartphone that is 5G-enabled and can reach a download speed up to1Gbps at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017.
The smartphone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor along with Snapdragon X16 LTE modem, whichutilises a combination of carrier aggregation, 4×4 MIMO Antenna technology, and 256-QAM modulation to achieve LTE download speeds that are up to 10x faster than first generation LTE devices. This coupled with company’s in-house Pre5G Giga+ MBB solutions, made it possible to reach a download speeds up to 1Gbps.
The company boasts that with the 1Gbps download speed users will be benefited with 36 degree panoramic VR video, instant cloud storage, entertainment upgrades and a fast cache of ultra Hi-Fi music and movies, and instant app, which removes the need for download or installation of applications.
